Hace unas semanas se celebró en Picassent la tercera edición del Festival de cinema en Valencià Inquiet, el único dedicado en exclusiva a la exhibición de películas en valenciano. En la sección oficial fueron premiados directores como Cesc Gay, Pau Fenollosa o Juanjo Jiménez, pero me centraré en la secció inquieta, donde, en un principio, yo mismo iba a participar.
La sección universitaria de Inquiet 07 consistía en elaborar un corto en apenas una semana, cuya temática fuera “10 euros” y, al menos, un 20% estuviera rodado en Picassent. Con la ayuda de mi musa y cuñada, Maite Martínez, grabé mi cortometraje. Pero no quedé satisfecho con el resultado y decidí no presentar finalmente el corto al concurso.
El cortometraje que resultó ganador en esta sección fue 10 euros, dirigido por Alberto Baixaulí y Víctor Descalzo, que aquí mismo podréis ver. El Premi Institut fue para dos cortos, Flash-back d'Escola Gavina e In-somni de Cristian Cuenca, donde participa Jordi González, actor y guionista de la popular serie Lo que surja.
