Hace unos días se difundían unas declaraciones de la Organización Médica Colegial (OMC) que denunciaban que las series de ficción sobre médicos "ofrecen con frecuencia una imagen alejada de la realidad", tanto en lo que se refiere a las enfermedades como a la profesión médica y atención sanitaria a los pacientes”. Como ya ocurrió con Cuéntame cómo pasó, parece que aún no nos hemos dado cuenta de que estamos hablando de ficción televisiva y, como su nombre indica, simplemente es ficción basada en la realidad.La OMC comentó como ejemplo que si se contabilizan los casos de supervivencia tras una reanimación cardio-pulmonar, "vemos que esta es significativamente más alta en las series televisivas que en la vida real, creando de esta forma expectativas exageradas de éxito en los pacientes y familiares que pasan por un trance de este tipo". No podemos ponernos tan quisquillosos con estos asuntos, porque sino las compañías aéreas deberían protestar por las falsas expectativas de supervivencia que da la serie Perdidos o por las falsas ilusiones que crea Prison Break en los presos.
Acabo de empezar a ver Anatomía de Grey y no creo que me vayan a crear falsas expectativas los casos que veo en cada episodio. Considero que las series no están obligadas a dar una imagen cercana a la realidad, simplemente utilizan un elemento real como punto de partida.

El único mal que creo que hace la ficción de médicos es que ahora parece haber una epidemia de doctores que se creen House. Lo malo es que para ser tan capullo como House hay que ser tan listo como él.

Sinceramente no tienen mejores cosas que hacer que criticar a las series tv, si pensasemos que todo lo que ocurre en las series de medicos se cumple, sería complicado ir a consulta o urgencias, poruqe estarían todo el día liados, con unos con otros...esto no les hace pensar k es simple y llanamente tele, espectaculo que para ver la realidad ya está la vida...
ver una peli porno... eso si que crea falsas expectativas (de todo tipo ! si hasta las tias pareciera que tienen el clitoris en la garganta !)... y nadie se queja.
Completamente de acuerdo con todos... nunca entenderé como no entienden que es simplemente ficción.
Aunque considero que hay ciertas representaciones que deberían cuidarse un poco más, pero eso sería otro tema que ya debatiremos más adelante.
